Keene is 2-7 against Londonderry since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Londonderry strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over Salem. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Brady Gillis looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jet Jones, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two triples, three runs, and two RBI. Those runs marked the first that he scored this season. Zach Green was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one double.
Londonderry always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Londonderry's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Keene, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
