Buckley entered their tilt with Hilltop on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Hilltop Lancers, posting a 70-32 win. The contest marked the Griffins' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Despite the loss, Hilltop still got an impressive performance from Roman Miramontes, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.

Buckley's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Hilltop, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Buckley won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Southwest EC at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hilltop, they and Wildwood will face off at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
