Brighton came out on top against Olympus on Saturday thanks in part to Case Beames's efforts. Beames was dynamite, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Beames and Brighton will venture away from home to face off against Highland at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bengals got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Rams thanks in part to Beames: he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits (and only one walk).
