Jamestown (N.Y.) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring 21 in the fourth quarter to seal a 42-14 victory over
Frontier (Hamburg, N.Y.).
The two teams were tied at 14 heading into halftime. The Red Raiders took the lead for good on a touchdown run by
Da'quan Hollingsworth with 11:00 remaining in the third quarter.
The loss snapped the Falcons' 4-game winning streak.
Cameron Coon made a difference for Frontier. He ran for one touchdown and caught one touchdown.
Jamestown's most effective player was Hollingsworth. The junior running back ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored 15 touchdowns on the season.
JHS entered the contest giving up 18.9 points per game this year.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 52-6 win for the Red Raiders.
The defeat comes as a step back for Frontier, which notched a 21-7 victory over Niagara Falls in its previous outing. With the win Jamestown extended its winning streak to four games.
