Pacelli moved up to 374 from 431 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in A Region 4. A 45-7 win over Baconton Charter helped the Vikings improve their standing.
Pacelli took down Baconton Charter 45-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Wyatt Peterson threw for 141 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 66 yards in the win.
Brian Foster was the best wideout in the league this week as Randy Grace's team topped Baconton Charter. Foster tallied three receptions for 65 yards. DeAndre Bowman II helped Pacelli's passing attack out by catching one ball for 59 yards.
Tra Minter was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 287 yards on 37 carries as Schley County bested Baconton Charter. Jack Peavy also contributed to the rushing game with 21 yards on the ground.
Duncan Fletcher put up the best numbers through the air as Brookstone lost to Wesleyan. He finished with 24 completions for 217 yards and two touchdowns. Fletcher's favorite target this week was Tim Kennedy, who caught five passes for 62 yards.
On the ground, the Wildcats' Minter has rushed for 616 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Cortney Clark. The Dooly County star has nine catches for 222 yards.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when the Cougars and Dooly County face off next week. Jaylen Daniels has dominated opposing QBs with a total of 2.5 sacks, while Fletcher has 471 passing yards and four touchdowns on the season.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Marion County takes on Greenville. The Eagles are in second place, while the Patriots are in third place.
