After five games on the road, Juab is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the North Sanpete Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, Juab came up short against North Summit and fell 55-44.
Despite their defeat, Juab saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Emmy Lovell, who scored eight points, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Gracelyn Harmon, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, North Sanpete ended up a good deal behind Canyon View on Thursday and lost 55-40. North Sanpete has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Juab has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-3 record this season. As for North Sanpete, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Juab took their win against North Sanpete when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 52-31. With Juab ahead 35-15 at the half, the match was all but over already.
