It was another big night for Cooper Roberts, who almost dropped a triple-double on 33 points, 11 rebounds, and nine steals for First Baptist Academy. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which Roberts has scored at least a third of First Baptist Academy's points.
White Academy's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.3 points per game. As for First Baptist Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-22.
White Academy will head out on the road to face off against the Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Washburn has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 12. As for First Baptist Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Concord Christian will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
