In what's become a running theme this season, the Eno River Bobcats gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 51-3 victory over Excelsior Classical Academy. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-0.
Eno River had a senior duo take command as Madison Hobbs scored 14 points and Abby Winslow scored ten points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Winslow has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ally Almers, who scored nine points along with four steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Eno River and bumps their season record up to 7-5. As for Excelsior Classical Academy, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eno River will take on Oxford Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oxford Prep is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Excelsior Classical Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Roxboro Community at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
