St. Charles had a senior duo take command as Xavier Buchanan scored 25 points along with five rebounds and two steals and Tajir Webster scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Buchanan has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Shamir Taylor, who scored five points along with three steals.
La Plata lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jaylen Jones, who scored ten points along with three steals. Dwayne Liggins was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds.
St. Charles' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for La Plata, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
