The Hamilton County Foxes lost against the Fairfield Mules back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Hamilton County fell 38-29 to the Mules.
Hamilton County's loss came despite strong showings from Rayci Phelps and Peyton Harmon. Phelps scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals, while Harmon scored seven points along with two steals. That was a full 44.8% of Hamilton County's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Hamilton County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Fairfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-17 record this season.
Hamilton County's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Panthers at 1:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Pinckneyville will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Fairfield will take on the Rangers at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
