Memorial Lutheran lost against Beren Academy back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Memorial Lutheran took a 52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Beren Academy.
Despite the loss, Memorial Lutheran still got an impressive performance from David Porter, who scored 30 points. That was a full 66.7% of Memorial Lutheran's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Memorial Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Beren Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Memorial Lutheran will take on Divine Savior Academy - Sienna at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Beren Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brazosport Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
