The Lewiston Tigers suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Johnson-Brock 78-23. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lewiston has scored all season.
Johnson-Brock was led to victory by Camden Dalinghaus and Brody Koehler. Dalinghaus scored 18 points along with four steals and two blocks, while Koehler scored 19 points along with five assists and five steals. Koehler has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last ten times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Casen Dalinghaus, who scored eight points along with four steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Lewiston and nudges their season record down to 5-8. As for Johnson-Brock, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
Lewiston will head out on the road to challenge Lourdes Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lourdes Central Catholic is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Johnson-Brock will take on Exeter-Milligan/Friend at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Exeter-Milligan/Friend will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 117th, while Johnson-Brock is ranked 18th).
