Edwards County won the last time they faced Carmi-White County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 5-2. The win was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on four straight.

Cash Conner was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.

Edwards County pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Carmi-White County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6-1 record this season.

Carmi-White County will head out to square off against Johnston City at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Edwards County will be paying especially close attention to the Bulldogs' match: after the Bulldogs faces off against the Indians, they'll take on Edwards County again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
