The Holbrook Roadrunners will head out to face off against the Alchesay Falcons at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Holbrook will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Last Friday, Holbrook didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Snowflake, but they still walked away with a 54-50 victory. That's two games straight that the Roadrunners have won by exactly four points.

Holbrook's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyler Tapaha, who went 5 for 11 on his way to 14 points in addition to seven assists and six boards. Tapaha is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Chase Salabye, who posted nine points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Alchesay has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 72-60 to Show Low on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (56), the Falcons still had to take the loss.
Holbrook will have to keep a close watch on Micah Yazzie and Texas James, a pair of players who had a big impact on Alchesay's prior game. Yazzie almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards, while James went 8 of 17 en route to 18 points and five rebounds. Yazzie is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Max Antonio was another key player, putting up nine points and five boards.
Even though they lost, Alchesay smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
Holbrook is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points per game. As for Alchesay, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-9.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Holbrook and Alchesay are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Holbrook hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 57.3 points per game. However, it's not like Alchesay struggles in that department as they've been averaging 55.6 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Holbrook didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Alchesay when the teams last played on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 60-56 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Holbrook since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
