The West Nassau Warriors fell victim to the Baldwin Indians''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 35-0 loss at the hands of the Indians. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for West Nassau in their matchups with Baldwin: they've now lost four in a row.
Baldwin found their leader in underclassman Neshawn Jacobs, who rushed for 188 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Jacobs' longest rush was for an incredible 89 yards. Kelvin Brown did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 90 receiving yards and a touchdown.
West Nassau has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 3-6 record this season. As for Baldwin, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.
West Nassau does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Baldwin is also done with their season.
