The Maiden Blue Devils can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They blew past West Caldwell 54-24 at home. With Maiden ahead 28-8 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Maiden found their leader in underclassman Khiara Culliver, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 17 rebounds. Culliver continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Willow Bass, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Maiden is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for West Caldwell, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maiden will take on the Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bunker Hill will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for West Caldwell, they will be playing at home against the Rebels at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Lincoln is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
