Mountain Range had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They managed a 20-14 win over the Cherokee Trail Cougars on Wednesday.
Mountain Range had a senior duo take command as Linda Archuleta threw for 344 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Delilah Lucero picked up 122 receiving yards and two TDs.
