While Limestone's win against Ottawa wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rockets had just enough and edged out the Pirates 3-1. The Rockets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates on Saturday, too.

Alec Williams and Dylan Bitner did most of the damage at the plate: Williams went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI, while Bitner went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double. James Reiley also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Limestone's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Ottawa, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Limestone will take on Morton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Potters will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ottawa, they will host LaSalle-Peru at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cavaliers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Pirates' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
