On Friday, Mercy Culture Prep suffered a rough 35-15 loss at the hands of Pantego Christian. Mercy Culture Prep has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Mercy Culture Prep's loss came despite strong showings from John Raybuck and Josh Marshall. Raybuck rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown, while Marshall posted 64 receiving yards and and a score through the air.
Mercy Culture Prep's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Pantego Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.
Mercy Culture Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against Lubbock Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pantego Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Reicher Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Reicher Catholic comes in on a streak of failing to score more than ten points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
