Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Weeki Wachee). They breezed by the Central Bears to the tune of 62-22 on Tuesday. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 22 points or more this season.

Weeki Wachee got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Joelys Rodriquez out in front who posted 21 points and eight steals. Those 21 points gave Rodriquez a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Halter, who had 13 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.

Weeki Wachee smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 16 consecutive contests.

Central's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Delanee Duncan, who scored eight points.

Weeki Wachee's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points per game. As for Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Weeki Wachee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 73-37 win against Hudson on the 16th. As for Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 33-22 victory against Tarpon Springs on the 16th.
