Geneva is a perfect 10-0 against Master's Academy since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Knights will face off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Geneva comes in on six and Master's Academy on three.

Bella Ortiz made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Peyton Clark was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Emma Bastian, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Geneva hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in six consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Master's Academy beat Orangewood Christian 6-3 on Tuesday.
Reagan Peri spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 15 Ks.
On the hitting side, Isa Moya was excellent, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamryn Mennenga, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Master's Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-11. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Geneva, their victory bumped their record up to 17-3.
Both Geneva and Master's Academy just can't seem to miss. The Knights have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.3 hits per game. However, it's not like Master's Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.3 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Geneva took their win against Master's Academy in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 17-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
