Cairo-Durham has struggled against Hudson recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Hudson was led to victory by Amya Moore and Malia Jackson. Moore dropped a double-double on 29 points and 11 rebounds, while Jackson dropped a double-double on 29 points and 21 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Jackson has scored at least 25% of Hudson's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriella Logue, who scored 12 points.
Cairo-Durham bumped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.4 points per game. As for Hudson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
Cairo-Durham will head out on the road to face off against Catskill at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hudson will be home for the holidays to greet Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
