When it comes to explaining why Riverview Sarasota lost, one person who can't be blamed is Susan Lowther. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. The match was Lowther's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kyrsten Montas, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Riverview Sarasota's defeat dropped their record down to 9-1. As for Seffner Christian, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0.
Riverview Sarasota will be home for the holidays to greet Gulf Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Seffner Christian will take on Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy in a holiday battle at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at. Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 155th, while Seffner Christian is ranked tenth).
