Collins Made His Presence Known in Northwest Whitfield's 48-21 Victory
Starting off the list is Northwest Whitfield's Cameron Collins, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Collins rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.
Northwest Whitfield's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Collins and Northwest Whitfield will square off against Calhoun at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Finley Posts Huge Game in 48-21 Defeat
While Khalas Finley delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for LaFayette. Finley was dynamite, rushing for 87 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
LaFayette is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7. Finley and LaFayette will look to defend their home field on Friday against Gilmer at 7:30 p.m.

Gavin Nuckolls Makes It Two for Northwest Whitfield
The second Northwest Whitfield player making an appearance here is Gavin Nuckolls, and for good reason. He threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.
On the year, Nuckolls has thrown 16 touchdowns (and and only 3 pick) while averaging 165.9 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had ten passing touchdowns.

Bryan Came Up Big in Heritage's 35-20 Loss
Heritage was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Cody Bryan did his best to prevent it. Bryan was unstoppable, picking up 173 receiving yards.
Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. Bryan and Heritage will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on LaFayette at 7:30 p.m. on October 18th.

Bryson Donald Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Bryson Donald of Ridgeland. Donald's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 102 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Ridgeland's loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Panthers challenges Adairsville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
