Conner Gray posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Brevard HEAT is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-10 otherwise.
