It was a good run, but Blountstown unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 14-3 to the Liberty County Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since March 13th.

Blountstown saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Terrell Williams, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Blountstown's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Liberty County, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-12.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Blountstown will square off against Franklin County at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Seahawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Liberty County, they will face off against Altha at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 10.3 runs per game this season.
