The Banks Braves will square off against the North Valley Knights at TBD on Friday. Banks will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.
With a playoff game on the line, Banks rose to the challenge on Friday. Everything went their way against Burns as Banks made off with a 38-13 win. Banks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won seven matchups by 25 points or more this season.
Banks' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Max Walker, who picked up 79 receiving yards and four touchdowns, and Kade Long, who threw for 187 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes. Justin Walters made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Meanwhile, North Valley entered their tilt with Elmira with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. North Valley snuck past Elmira with a 26-21 win on Friday.
Banks' win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.55 points. As for North Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
