The West Milford Highlanders will head out on the road to take on the Fair Lawn Cutters at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, West Milford strolled past Pompton Lakes with points to spare, taking the game 50-32. The victory made it back-to-back wins for West Milford.
Avery Vacca was her usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Adison Arciniega, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Fair Lawn scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took down Passaic Valley 50-33. That 17 points margin sets a new team best for Fair Lawn this season.
West Milford has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Fair Lawn, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
West Milford didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Fair Lawn in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 42-37 victory.
