Windermere is 8-1 against Ocoee since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wolverines will challenge the Knights at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Windermere's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against West Orange as they made off with a 15-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.
Lauren Harper made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Harper was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.
In other batting news, Windermere got a massive performance out of Tristan Trimbee, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Sophie Shaik, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Ocoee hadn't done well against West Orange recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Knights blew past the Warriors 19-3. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on four straight.
Addy Sims looked comfortable as she pitched 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Shyanne Marble was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and four runs. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high. Janay Jackson was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Windermere now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Ocoee, their record is now 9-6.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Windermere hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .362. However, it's not like Ocoee struggles in that department as they've averaged .377. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Windermere's way against Ocoee in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Windermere made off with a 13-0 win. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
