After only one run in their last game, Hancock made sure to put some runs up on the board against Hubbard on Wednesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by an 18-12 margin over the Greyhounds. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.

Hancock got a massive performance out of Emiliano Leon, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four stolen bases, six RBI, and three runs. The Eagles are 5-1 when Leon posts two or more stolen bases, but 6-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Robert Morales, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Hancock always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .730. Their OBP was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .583 that Hubbard posted.

Hancock has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.1 runs over those games. As for Hubbard, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-5-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hancock beat Hubbard by a score of 11-0 on Thursday.
