The Hoboken Redwings can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Wednesday. They put the hurt on American History with a sharp 70-46 win. Winning may never get old, but Hoboken sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
American History lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ihjamir Williams, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. Williams hasn't dropped below four blocks for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Edgar De Los Santos, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Hoboken pushed their record up to 15-4 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points per game. As for American History, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.
Hoboken will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Bees at 7:00 p.m. American History will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on February 2nd.
