Western Boone will go up against Triton Central in continuing playoff action on Friday. Averaging 43.75 points per game, the Western Boone squad has been an offensive juggernaut in the playoffs, so hopefully Triton Central's defense is prepared for a test.
Everything went Western Boone's way against Heritage Christian last week as they made off with a 35-14 win. Robby Taylor was the offensive standout of the contest for the Stars, as he rushed for 171 yards and one TD on 25 carries. This makes it three games in a row in which Taylor has produced a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Triton Central earned some more postseason success in their matchup last week. They got past Evansville Mater Dei with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 13-7.
With both teams having displayed their playoff mettle, spectators can expect a high-quality contest. Keep track of this and all the high school football postseason action on MaxPreps.com.
