When it comes to explaining why Academy for Classical Education lost, one person who can't be blamed is Aaron Davis . Despite the final result, he scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Camden Bailey , who scored 8 points.
Pike County can attribute much of their success to Yadiel Rosado, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Rosado has scored at least 25% of Pike County's points. Nazarious McDowell was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 3 steals.
Academy for Classical Education's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Pike County, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Academy for Classical Education will take on Trinity Christian School of Griffin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Pike County will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Rock Springs Christian Academy at 2:30 p.m. on December 2nd.
