The Rock Canyon Jaguars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Regis Jesuit 87-84. Winning may never get old, but Rock Canyon sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Macoy Terry continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with eight assists and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Kasen Lehman was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with two steals.
Rock Canyon pushed their record up to 12-3 with that victory, which was their 15th straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points per game. As for Regis Jesuit, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
Rock Canyon will head out on the road to face off against Legend at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Legend knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Rock Canyon likes a good challenge. As for Regis Jesuit, they will be playing at home against Mountain Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Mountain Vista is ranked seventh, while Regis Jesuit is ranked 14th).
