The Power Center Academy Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 96-46 win over KIPP Collegiate on the road. Power Center Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five games by 21 points or more this season.
Nazir Allen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. The matchup was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. Marquis Tunstall was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten assists.
The victory (which was Power Center Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43 points. As for KIPP Collegiate, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Power Center Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Craigmont at 7:30 p.m. on December 13th. Craigmont will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 385th, while Power Center Academy is ranked 175th). As for KIPP Collegiate, they will head out on the road to face off against Douglass at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Douglass' favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
