Softball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Oxford Hills' Sixth in Last Seven Outings

While Oxford Hills's win against Edward Little wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Red Eddies on Tuesday. Those one runs were actually the fewest the Vikings have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Oxford Hills has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Edward Little, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.
