They took a 45-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Spencer. Wood Memorial was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as South Spencer apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Wood Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for South Spencer, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Wood Memorial will be playing in front of their home fans against Evansville Bosse at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Evansville Bosse will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 315th, while Wood Memorial is ranked 156th). As for South Spencer, they will head out on the road to face off against Gibson Southern at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gibson Southern has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 522 points over their last eight contests.
