After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Midview, Firelands was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Keystone Wildcats get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. Firelands might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by three goals or more this season.
Their offense was hitting Keystone from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Mikey Janosik led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.
Firelands pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those three games. As for Keystone, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-13.
