On Thursday, Delhi strolled past D'Arbonne Woods with points to spare, taking the game 63-48. The win made it back-to-back wins for Delhi.
Delhi got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ge'ryl Barnes out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was Barnes' third in a row with at least ten points. Jimmy Spruill was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with seven rebounds.
Delhi has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for D'Arbonne Woods, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.
Delhi will be playing at home against Delhi Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for D'Arbonne Woods, they will head out on the road to face off against Summerfield at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
