The Desert Christian Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Valley Union Blue Devils at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Desert Christian knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Valley Union likes a good challenge.
 Desert Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five  matchups by 21  points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a  74-53 margin over St. Augustine Catholic. Given Desert Christian's advantage  in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings  (they are ranked 99th, while St. Augustine Catholic is ranked 207th), the result  on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.
  Jonathan Brown and  Tyson Dobbins were among the main playmakers for Desert Christian as the former  scored 22 points along with eight  rebounds and the latter  almost  dropped  a triple-double on 23 points, nine  rebounds, and nine  assists. The  game was  Brown's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Joseph Serrano, who  scored 12 points along with three  steals.
 Meanwhile, Valley Union took a serious blow against Bisbee on Monday, falling  81-35.
 Desert Christian pushed their record up to 9-3 with that  win, which was their third straight  at home. They've been dominating during the  contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.67 points. As for Valley Union, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost four of their last five matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
 Everything came up roses for Desert Christian against Valley Union in their previous matchup  back in January as the  team secured a  73-33 win. With Desert Christian ahead  42-13 at the half, the  matchup was all but over already.
