Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Canyon View). They never let the Youngker Roughriders get on the board and left with  a   27-0  victory  on Tuesday. The Jaguars'  win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet  this season.
 Emily Davis made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). That's the first time  she hasn't allowed a single  hit since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with one  home run and four  RBI. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Rylen Buchberger, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with one  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Andrea Garcia, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run and four  RBI.
 Canyon View  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .708. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an  OBP of .500 or higher in four consecutive  matches.
Canyon View's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Youngker,  they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
 We've got a battle between Jaguars coming up. Canyon View will need to watch out since Desert View has now posted at least ten  runs  in their last three games. Youngker will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Paradise Valley at 3:45  p.m.  on March 25th.
