This past Thursday, the New Milford Knights were out to avenge their 52-36 loss to the Dwight-Englewood Bulldogs from their previous meeting last month, but they had no such luck. New Milford lost to Englewood at home by a decisive 57-44 margin.
The Knights' defeat pushed them down to 9-13. Englewood's win brought them up to 12-6.
The Knights will stay at home against Bergen Charter on Tuesday. Like New Milford, Bergen Charter is looking to wash their mouths of the taste of defeat after falling 64-15 to Secaucus. Englewood will be playing at home against Mount St. Dominic Academy in two weeks. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 32 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close matchup.
