Carver is 0-5 against Shaw since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Carver Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Shaw Raiders at 8:00 p.m.
Last Thursday, Carver suffered a tough 11-1 loss at the hands of Central. Carver has not had much luck with Central recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Shaw was forced to settle for a draw. They and Calvary Christian finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.
Kelvin Reyes was the only thing that stood between Shaw and a shutout considering he scored both of Shaw's goals. With that big game, he's now up to six goals this season.
Carver's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. Shaw's draw makes their record 1-0-1 this season.
Carver might still be hurting after the 10-2 defeat they got from Shaw in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Carver avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
