The Silver Bluff Bulldogs came tearing into Tuesday's game with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by Pelion at home to the tune of 62-12. Silver Bluff has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 25 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Krystal Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Cierra Green was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five steals.
Silver Bluff pushed their record up to 15-1 with that win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.83 points. As for Pelion, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
Coincidentally, Silver Bluff and Pelion will both be playing Fox Creek the next time they take the court. Silver Bluff will host Fox Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Pelion will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
