The Ralls Jackrabbits will head out on the road to square off against the Hale Center Owls at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Ralls will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1304th, while Hale Center is ranked 575th).
Ralls suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 69-39 loss at the hands of Olton. Ralls has struggled against Olton recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Hale Center waltzed into their game on Tuesday with five straight wins but they left with six. They snuck past Floydada with a 65-60 victory. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Ralls has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Hale Center, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6.
Ralls suffered a grim 72-51 defeat to Hale Center in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Ralls avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
