With a playoff win on the line, Bradford rose to the challenge  on Monday. They walked away with  an   18-7  victory over the University Christian Christians. The  win was familiar territory for the Tornadoes, who have now won five  matches in a row.
 Arnayshia Griffin threw for 110 yards  on 14 of 22 attempts.   Nichelle Brown was her top target, picking up 65 receiving yards and a pair of  touchdowns.
 Despite the  defeat, University Christian had strong showings from  Elissa Murdock, who threw for 226 yards and one  TD, and  Abbey Mehm, who picked up 69 receiving yards and one  score.
Bradford's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for University Christian, their  loss was their first of the  season and  makes their record 10-1.
 Coming up, Bradford will square off against Florida State University High School at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few  points on average (the Tornadoes 6.6, the Seminoles 5.1) so any  points scored will be well earned. University Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
