Westside Christian Academy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last six games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Medina Christian Academy Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Westside Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Thursday.
Westside Christian Academy pushed their score all the way to 62, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 77-62 bruising from Andrews Osborne Academy.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Nate Taylor, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and five assists. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Xander Biederman, who scored 17 points.
Medina Christian Academy suffered their biggest defeat since December 15, 2023 on Tuesday. They were the victim of a rough 75-50 loss at the hands of Independence.
Westside Christian Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Medina Christian Academy, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-8.
