After four games on the road, Forge Christian is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet  the Severance Silver Knights at 3:30  p.m.  on Saturday. Both teams come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Forge Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Tuesday. They came out on top against Bishop Machebeuf by a score of  54-44. The  victory was just what Forge Christian needed coming off of a  47-20 loss in their prior  game.
 Forge Christian found their leader in underclassman  Gabriella Geypens, who  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and 12  steals. That's the first time this season that  Geypens  scored 15 or more  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aleeza Olson, who  scored nine points along with six  rebounds and six  steals.
 Meanwhile, Severance's six-game losing streak  dating back to last season came to an end  on Thursday. They walked away with  a   47-36  win over Niwot. That looming  47-36 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Severance yet this  season.
 Forge Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Severance, their victory bumped their record up to 1-5.
 Forge Christian was dealt a bruising  66-33 loss at the hands of Severance in their previous matchup  back in December of 2022. Will Forge Christian have more luck at home instead of on the road?
