The Passaic Valley Hornets will head out on the road to challenge the Kennedy Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Passaic Valley is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
Last Thursday, Passaic Valley ended up a good deal behind Lakeland Regional and lost 44-29.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 63-32, which was the final score in Kennedy's tilt against West Milford on Saturday. Kennedy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Passaic Valley's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-13. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.0 points per game. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-9.
Passaic Valley didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Kennedy in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 45-40 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Passaic Valley since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
