Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Van Meter). They blew past the Interstate 35 Roadrunners, posting a 77-42 win. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Roadrunners are ranked 214th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Van Meter has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Interstate 35, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Van Meter will challenge Panorama at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Interstate 35, they will be playing at home against Woodward-Granger at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
